Can I process multiple PDFs?

Yes. The tool can extract text from multiple files.

Why is the extracted text empty?

The PDF likely doesn't have a selectable text layer — it's an image-only scan. Try a tool that runs OCR, or compress the scan and pass it through OCR software first. We're scoping OCR as an upcoming Pro feature.

Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere?

No. Text extraction runs locally with PDF.js, so the source PDF and extracted text never leave your browser. Useful for statements, legal docs, and HR paperwork.

Will this tool stay free?

The basic workflow is designed to stay free. Paid upgrades later will focus on bigger limits, batch work, OCR, saved presets, and ad-free use.
