How do I split a PDF into separate pages?

Choose Every page and click Split PDF. You get one PDF for each page, ready to download individually or as a ZIP.

How do I split a PDF into equal parts?

Choose Page ranges and type equal ranges, for example 1-10, 11-20, 21-30. Each range becomes its own file. There is no automatic "split into N parts" button yet.

What if I only want one new file with chosen pages?

Use Extract PDF pages. It saves the pages you pick into a single new PDF instead of several files.

Does splitting change the original file?

No. The tool creates new output files and leaves the original file untouched. You can re-split the same source any number of times with different ranges.

Is there a file size limit?

Free use covers PDFs up to 100 MB. Day and Project Passes raise this to 500 MB.

Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere?

No. Splitting runs locally with pdf-lib, so the source PDF and the resulting files stay on your device.

Will this tool stay free?

Yes. Everything this tool does is free. On some tools, a Day or Project Pass raises the file-size and batch limits if you need more.
