Fix

Fix a file problem

Pick the problem you have. Each fix uses a free tool that runs in your browser, so your files stay on your device and you don't need an account.

Files too big or rejected

My PDF is too big to upload or email

Compress it. Preserve mode keeps text selectable and links working. Aggressive mode turns pages into images and usually shrinks scans much more, but text is no longer selectable. If one PDF is still too large, split it into smaller files.

My photo is too big for a form or website

Most size limits are easiest to meet by reducing the pixel dimensions first, then compressing. Resize the image, then compress it and check the new file size before you upload.

iPhone photos (HEIC)

My iPhone photos won't open on Windows or in a form

iPhones save photos as HEIC, which many Windows PCs, websites and older apps can't open. Convert them to JPG. You can convert up to 50 photos at once and download them as a ZIP.

Combine files into one PDF

I want to combine scans or phone photos into one PDF

Add the images, put them in the right order and create one PDF. Each image becomes a page and nothing is cropped. Works with JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF and iPhone HEIC photos.

Pages in the wrong place

I need to delete pages from a PDF

Remove the pages you don't want and download the rest as a new PDF. Your original file is not changed.

Some PDF pages are sideways or upside down

Rotate all pages or just the selected ones, then download the corrected file.

Get things out of a PDF

I need to copy the text out of a PDF

Pull the text layer out of a PDF as plain text. Scanned PDFs that are only images have no text layer, so this won't work for them.

All tools run in your browser. Files stay on your device.
